Description✓Service Charge Accountant – Hove [Part Home Based] – Up to £37k
✓Our client is a long established and highly regarded independent firm of Chartered Surveyors making up one part of a larger property services group specialising in block management.
✓Overseeing a diverse [but often recognizable/landmark] portfolio of blocks across Sussex [mainly] and the wider South East generally, they now seek an additional Service Charge Accountant as follows:
✓* Oversight of Service Charge Accounts relating to the block portfolio managed
✓* Budget setting, arrears chasing, invoice processing, year-end accounts, contractor payments
✓* Working with and alongside the wider property management & Accounts team
✓* Hybrid working available once settled
✓Suitable Service Charge Accountants will live in or close to Hove, come from a stable career background and have exposure to [or a willingness to learn] QUBE.
✓As our client is one of a handful of specialist property managing agents that make up a larger block management group, their position would best suit a service charge accountant keen to work outside of “one size fits all” corporate management.
✓Remuneration for the successful service charge accountant will include a basic salary up to £35k [with uplifts based on tenure and performance] alongside 25 days holiday and a benefits package that includes a number of wellbeing perks.
