Tenancy Officer
Description✓A 3 months+ opportunity for a Tenancy Management Advisor has arisen with the local authorities in the Rugby Council.
✓Hourly rate of pay is £13,71 PAYE or £16.95 Umbrella.
✓The successful Tenancy Management Adviser will focus on addressing tenancy breaches in relation to communal fire risks - unauthorised storage, dumping etc
✓Duties include;
✓Provide tenancy management service to tenants with a range of requirements
✓Establish and maintain expertise in the range of tenancy-related matters that residents require assistance with, developing and implementing a suite of tools and resources to support the delivery of the service
✓Provide housing and tenancy-related advice, interventions and services directly to council tenants, their families, advocates and other professionals
✓Implement robust processes for assessing, recording, managing and reviewing risks
✓Optimise service delivery through flexible working, co-location and integration with the
✓wider Tenancy Services structure
✓Deliver a programme of visits to residents who may be at risk of poor outcomes and offer support
✓Contribute ideas and constructive feedback of the service plan
✓Maintain information systems and take responsibility for data collection, inputting and validation processes, ensuring systems are accurate, complete and up to dateExperience, knowledge, and qualifications;
✓Experience of providing advice or assistance to the public in a customer-facing role, ideally within a housing or support setting
✓Understanding of the issues people face who have experienced disadvantages [eg: poor health, unemployment, trauma]
✓Understanding of housing and other relevant policy and legislation, including housing supply and demand issues and welfare reform
✓Understanding of the network of statutory and non-statutory social and community services
✓Able to undertake risk assessments, develop safety plans and make recommendations about risk and need based on the evidence Hours of work are 9am till 5pm, Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week.
