Capital Project Manager

DescriptionFinegreen are currently recruiting an Estates and Facilities Capital Projects Manager to work for an NHS organisation based in Yorkshire and Humber
This is a long-term contracting role working on a fixed term contract/interim basis to start in the coming weeks until the end of March 2024
The role will work between a band 7 – 8a, please see the rates below:
Interim rates: £29.53 - £34.65, working inside IR35.
Fixed term contract/annual salary: £41,659 - £49,000
Our client is ideally looking for someone with NHS experience with expertise in Minor/Major capital projects and delivery
Please note the role will require full time on-site working

Key responsibilities will include:
Provide, coordinate, develop and manage highly specific and highly complex Building and Property specialised input into multi-agency estate strategies site development and modernisation projects;
Detailed knowledge, experience and application of project management, programme management and systems;
Manage all risk and health and safety issues associated with the project delivery and ensure compliance with relevant legislation;
Define and commission surveys and assessments of existing infrastructure to establish base information prior to establishing proposals;
Be responsible for planning and organising work activities and formulating programmes of works for various capital development schemes within the built environment including the production and updating of project programmes using appropriate software.
The ideal candidate will have:
Must have experience working within the NHS/a healthcare background;
Experience of management of large- and small-scale projects using multi- disciplinary teams including the NHS;
Specialist technical knowledge, including legislation relating to construction, development and property management of Healthcare Buildings;
Extensive experience of Business case / report writing for a range of audiences, including the presentation of complex statistics and information;
Excellent communication skills.
