✓Salary: Scale 5 £29,439 - £33,820 plus benefits package
✓Scale 3 £23,620 - £25,878 plus benefits package

✓The Council operates two fully serviced business centres for small and growing businesses within the District of East Cambridgeshire; e-space north, located in Littleport and e-space south, located on the Cambridgeshire Business Park in Ely.

✓Electoral Service Officer/Trainee – This Role:
✓As an Electoral Services Officer/Trainee you will gain a good understanding and experience of work in a frontline, public sector post
✓You will provide a courteous and efficient service to customers at all levels, who will include residents and electors, resolving their enquiries with tact and discretion
✓You also will have the ability to build and develop good working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders like Officers, Councillors, other public sector organisations and agencies, and Electoral Administration bodies.
✓This is a career-graded post, and the starting salary will be dependent on qualifications and experience.
✓Electoral Service Officer/Trainee – You:
✓- You will need to have experience of Electoral Services/Elections administration
✓- Appointments to a trainee post will usually be at the bottom of the lower grade, with progression subject to satisfactory performance, and further advancement to the higher grade subject to demonstration of the required competencies and completion of the AEA Certificate
✓- You must be committed to completing the Association of Electoral Administrators [AEA] Foundation/Certificate which involves both tutored study days and individual study
✓- You will have strong IT, listening, communication and interpersonal skills and a willingness to learn
✓- Demonstrate a customer focus, positive attitude
✓- Flexible, pro-active approach to your duties
