✓Spinwell is recruiting for a Governance and Project Lead for an excellent opportunity within the public sector.
✓RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE GOVERNANCE AND PROJECT LEAD
✓* To enable the Directorate deliver its strategic aims effectively and compliantly by advising on and project managing change initiatives, restructures, and audit actions.
✓* To provide high quality executive support to the Director, Service Director or Head of Commissioning and Support by proactively addressing issues, conflicting priorities and complex staff matters.
✓* To support the Cabinet Member by ensuring governance processes are followed compliantly and they receive timely briefings on the matters being worked on.
✓* To support the leadership of the Directorate in its ambition to deliver its outcomes and support cultural and structural change
✓Develop local policy and procedure and the standards that enhance those procedures, implementing and overseeing adherence.
✓SKILLS/EXPERIENCE OF THE GOVERNANCE AND PROJECT LEAD
✓* Extensive experience supporting senior executives, maintaining confidentiality, filtering of information and dealing/responding on their behalf.
✓* A thorough understanding of challenges and opportunities facing Local Government and the statutory, regulatory and political framework
✓* Practical experience of working within a pressurised environment requiring tact, discretion and highly developed skills of diplomacy.
✓* Experience of building effective working relationships with Elected Members, Directors, Officers and Customers
✓* Experience of working in highly pressurised environment, within tight timescales and managing conflicting priorities
✓* Good standard of secondary education, GCSE or Grade C or above including English Literature, Language and Grammar
✓* BTEC National in Business Studies/NVQ Administration Level 3 or equivalent training gained through experience.
✓* CIPD Level 3 or equivalent.
