✓My client a Tooting based NHS Trust is recruitng for experienced Plumbing Maintenance candidate on a temp to perm basis.
✓The Trusts Estate maintenance team is looking to recruit a dedicated, professional, and highly proficient Mechanical craftsperson/plumber, to deliver a planned, coordinated, and proactive maintenance service and delivery of projectsto support the overall objectives of the Trust.
✓The post holder is an integral part of the team and will provide a widerange of duties to support and assist as required by the Estates [Site Services] Department.
✓You:
✓Will be employed to work on, appropriate to their skillset and will be suitably trained to acquireelements of other trade skills with the intention of reaching levels of flexibility and competence to enable them toachieve and apply the ability to diagnose and repair faults in engineering services and plumbing installations [where appropriate] plant and equipment.
✓Carry out a variety of building services tasks to minimise risk to all building users
✓Make permanent repairs wherever possible.
✓Assist higher skill grades on new work and repairs. To respond toemergency situations as requested including lift rescue, floods, site shutdowns, ventilation servicing etc.
✓To utilise allforms of communication systems available to the Estates team including multifunction two-way radios, bleeps, PDA’s, computers, and other systems.
✓To undertake any other reasonable duties in line with the grade.
✓To carry out reactive, planned preventative maintenance [PPM], of building fabric and associated new works as directed by the supervisor.
✓As this is a NHS role candidates will need to prove qualifications, complete online training modules prior to starting
