Procurement and Contract Officer
Description✓SF Recruitment are working with a Coventry based business to recruit an experienced Procurement & Contract Officer to join their Procurement team
✓This role is part time [30 hours] per week, permanent, hybrid and is paying from £33,806 - £42,800 [pro rata]
✓Duties and Responsibilities:-
✓- Responsible for obtaining and evaluating exception forms, quotations, raising orders, supplier notifications, chasing suppliers, and providing advice and guidance on commercial terms and conditions
✓- Develop specifications and tender evaluation criteria with clients, ensuring compliance with legislation, European Directives and in accordance with best practice
✓Translating client's needs into specifications and ensuring clients understand the implications
✓- Support the Procurement and other teams throughout the business in the management and delivery of Low to Medium Risk / Value projects as well as supporting Medium / High risk / value project delivery
✓- Provide expert procurement and contract management advice and commercial support through to delivery of end to end management of the procurement process
✓- Ensures compliance to administrative processes and procedures, specifically: EU procurement regulations, budget management and administrative functions
✓- Proactively reviews the processes and procedures of the department and makes suggestions in order to improve the service Show more →
