Project Support Officer
Description✓Project Support Officer - Temp 6 Month Contract - Thames Valley, HYBRID WORKING

✓We are recruiting for a large law enforcement organization within Thames Valley
✓The role is as a Project Support Officer within PCC programs and other projects
✓This is a full-time role with hybrid working.
✓The main purpose of the role is to provide day-to-day support to the projects within PCC programs and other projects as directed
✓This will include monitoring of Project/Program plans, to ensure effective delivery and befits realization.
✓Key Responsibilities
✓Support Projects using appropriate recognized techniques for the gathering, recording and analysis of data needed for problem solving, to provide effective delivery of project objectives and recommendations to improve end-to-end systems in Thames Valley.
✓Assist Project Managers in the production and maintenance of required project management documents throughout the lifecycle of the agreed projects.
✓Provide Project Managers with support in managing the projects within specified programs, to ensure the successful delivery of the Projects and the overall PCC Strategy
✓This includes diary management, arranging meetings and organizing events.
✓Support the management of project risks and issues, including the identification of potential issues, risks and tolerances and the development of contingency plans as required.
✓Ensure that risks and issues are escalated as appropriate to secure the successful delivery of Projects.
✓Provide advice and work in conjunction with Project Managers and other stakeholders [internal and external] to ensure regular monitoring takes place to ensure projects are coordinated and managed effectively within the requirements of the project framework.To Be Successful:
✓Good standard of education including excellent numeracy and literacy skills
✓Relevant project/management experience or ability to gain skills.
✓IT literate, especially in MS Office software
✓Proven ability to make decisions and establish priorities under conflicting demands.
✓Excellent planning and organizational skills with ability to work deadlines.
✓Recent experience of communicating and influencing successfully at all levels with internal/external customers and suppliers.
