✓Our public sector client located in Wick is looking for Roads Labourer on a temporary basis starting immediately.
✓This a full time post working Monday- Friday with an hourly rate of £10.90.
✓Experience is desirable however full training will be given
✓This is heavy duty labouring and you will be required to work out doors in all weathers therefore we are ideally looking for people who enjoy working outdoors
✓Safety boots are required for this position and not provided by the client however you will be supplied with all other necessary PPE.
✓The successful candidate must be able to work as part of a team, and to carry out all duties in all aspects of Roads and Winter Maintenance.
✓Key Duties and Responsibilities:
✓Assist with all aspects of Roads and Winter Maintenance.
✓Assist in Roads Maintenance operations like Recycling, Surfacing, Surface Dressing and Drainage works, among others.
✓Skills/Experience Required:
✓Awareness of Health & Safety within a working environment
✓Ability to work alone as well as part of a team
✓Ability to communicate effectively
✓Good level of fitness
✓Punctual
✓Manual handling, although not essential, training will be given
