Security Officer
Description✓HRGO Recruitment are looking to recruit Hospital Security Officer in Oxford for one of our well established clients.
✓Pay : £12.00ph paid weekly
✓Hours and days of work: 4 days on, 4 days off, 6am-6pm or 6pm-6am
✓SIA and CCTV licence are required for this role
✓Duration: Temp/Perm for the right candidate
✓Job Location: Oxford
✓You will be subject to Enhanced DBS - Criminal record checks due to the nature of the job
✓We can apply DBS checks for you at cost of £56.
✓Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities
✓▪ To patrol the interior and exterior of buildings/offices and perimeter
✓▪ To carry out external safety tours
✓▪ To control access to site and designated buildings to permit only authorised personnel to enter
✓▪ To detect, and if possible prevent, forcible or surreptitious entry to sites/buildings by those without authority and deter and detect vandalism
✓▪ To carry out checks on the car park twice daily [day shift only]
✓▪ To assist the cashier with daily duty of emptying the car parking machines
✓▪ To carry out daily checks on the car parking machines [ensure that there are tickets loaded and working correctly]
✓Skills and Knowledge required: ▪ Good communication skills ▪ IT literate ▪ Customer focused approach ▪ Able to work on own initiative ▪ Must be willing to undergo extended security clearance ● Hold a current SIA licence, or willingness to be trained ▪ Full, clean driving licence preferable
