Hourly rate: £13.33
Contract: Temporary 6 month assignment, 37 hours per week Monday - Friday 09:00-17:00
You must hold a valid passport and must have lived in the UK for longer than 5 years

Brook Street in partnership with the Home Office has a fantastic opportunity to join their existing team of Senior Caseworkers in Sheffield
You will be providing appropriate support, overseeing of the day-to-day casework, potential line management of fellow staff, managing a caseload, ensuring casework is progressed and managed efficiently, delivering a quality service to both internal and external stakeholders, responsible for compliance and quality assurance as well as supporting your team, deliver against targets and provide excellent customer service, deliver a professional service to Home Office standards and support colleagues

In this high-profile department, the role will be in an administrative support capacity at the Sheffield Home Office branch
You will be required to monitor intake, updating local and national records, whilst seeking additional supplementary information from outside partners
You may also be required to liaise with other casework teams with a view to referring cases to them
You will be required to maintain accurate records of the movement of files, progression of cases and other ad hoc reports
You may be asked to monitor multiple mailboxes, responding to queries from multiple stakeholders initially after seeking support from line managers and bringing queries to the attention of senior members of the team
You will also be required to establish effective working relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders to support the progression of casesSkills needed:
Ability to deliver high quality outputs in line with Operational Targets
Collaborate effectively to ensure cases move quickly through the system
Demonstrate communication skills and possess a sound knowledge of equality and an appreciation of cultural differences
Have proficient use of Microsoft Office [Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel] with the ability to build and maintain spreadsheets to collate information
Ability to manage mailboxes and respond to email queries
Be comfortable working in a fast-paced changing environment while providing quality output and adhering to performance targets
