Supporting Families Officer

We are excited to have secured funding for new post in collaboration with West Berkshire Council to support Sovereign customers
The Supporting Families Housing Officer will work in a multi-agency team to address housing related issues to sustain tenancies.
You'll manage your own diary and will be working in a hybrid model.
This is a fixed term contact which will end in March 2025 with a starting salary of £30,000 to £36,000 depending on experience.
Your role

You will be responsible for maintaining high data quality in our customer systems
Ensure that data is held centrally for full transparency and that suitable contract arrangements are in place for the continued management all compliance elements within your defined areas.
The focus will be on with devolved decision making to ensure customers' needs are addressed in an efficient and timely manner.
Your duties will include:
* Act as lead professional to co-ordinate day to day inputs of other agencies, including providing knowledge and advice for team members and ensure that key agencies are appropriately engaged with meeting the needs of the families.
* To organise and plan multi-agency team around the family meetings to agree a My Family Plan with them.
* To improve early help outcomes for families such as parenting capacity, increase level of development, improvement physical and mental health and sustained engagement with both internal and external agencies.
* Support the Locality Officers in fulfilling our landlord responsibilities, including adherence to our policies and procedures, as well as all regulatory and legislative requirements.
* Contributing to shaping sustainable communities and developing an environment that is safe and inclusive for our customers.
* Providing an excellent customer experience which contributes to us achieving 90% customer satisfaction.
To be successful in this role you will have:
* The ability to be self-motivated and highly organised.
* Experience of prioritising and organising a wide-ranging workload
* Strong communication skills with previous experience of working with customers in a demanding environment.
* Knowledge of working in a family support environment
* Excellent customer service and people skills
* Experience of using computer systems, for example Microsoft Office
* The ability to establish, develop and maintain effective working relationships with all work colleagues, contractors and partnering agencies.
* A full UK driving licence and access to your own transport.
A DBS check will be undertaken for the successful candidate.
