✓An opportunity has arisen for a Merchandiser with a leading fashion retailer to help take the business to the next level! Managing ecommerce and wholesale channels for all brands

✓MERCHANDISER RESPONSIBILITIES
✓* Maintain weekly reporting structure for ecommerce and wholesale channels for all brands
✓To includes top line summary and more detailed Stock and Sales summary.
✓* Present key findings in the weekly trade meeting to help guide and inform the wider team to make informed decisions
✓Identify best & worst sellers, trading opportunities and risks.
✓* Work closely with and support the Ecommerce Manager with regards to promotional suggestions, weekly website deep dives, VM recommendations, model & image analysis.
✓* Monitor stock levels to ensure sufficient cover seasonally and on bestselling items
✓Make recommendations for repeat orders as and when required
✓Work to trade out slower sellers through onsite trading or off-price channels as required.
✓* Ensure data going into the systems [Shopify & Zedonk] are accurately maintained, pricing, tags, categorisation, to enable data to be effectively analysed.
✓* Manage the weekly replenishment of the website from the warehouse to ensure stock is in place to trade.
✓* Working with Buying/ CEO/ Finance team to establish margin targets from product development stage and ensure company target margins are upheld through the product life cycle with effective trading of stock and markdown management.
✓* Working with CEO/ Finance team to establish annual sales plans that can be regularly reviewed, and re-forecast as required
✓Within this present target FP/MD mixes, target margins and contribution levels.
✓* Break down top level budgets into range/ buy plans for Buying
✓Help the team build a balanced range across all categories and price architectures.
✓* Option planning – give Design/ Buying an option framework each season that they can build into their critical path.
✓* Work with Operations/ Warehouse team to ensure stock data is accurate
✓Closely monitor short orders and flag when cycle counts should be conducted on problem lines.
✓* Work with the senior team to ensure short-, medium- and long-term plans and strategies are being identified and regular reviews to ensure they are being achieved.
✓* Run seasonal sizing analysis to ensure future buys are being place in the best possible ratio based on sales and product nuances.
✓* Markdowns – agree season markdown strategy
✓Plan stock into sale and be reactive to current trade [e.g
✓promotions].
✓* Regularly review and assess courier freight costs and maintain a relationship with key Account Managers to ensure always getting the best available rates.
✓* Conduct ad hoc analysis as and when required by key stakeholders.
