Assistant Accountant - Temp
Description✓Axon Moore are partnering with a small business based in Ancoats, Manchester, who are looking to appoint a Temporary Assistant Accountant for a 6-8 week period
✓The role is based in the city centre with excellent transport links.
✓The company are looking to help with all transactional invoices, journals and reconciliations, supporting the Head of Finance.
✓Salary – Up to £30,000 per annum based on an hourly rate
✓Key Responsibilities:
✓Processing all invoices
✓Maintaining a clean purchase and sales ledger
✓Reconciliation of supplier statements, credit card and bank accounts with a high level of accuracy
✓Resolve supplier queries and invoicing errors in a timely manner
✓Credit Control
✓Journals
✓Expenses
✓Other ad-hoc accounting duties as required
✓Experience and skills:
✓Experience in an all-round accounts role or similar accounting position
✓Experience with accounting software would be an advantage
✓An AAT or similar qualification would also be an advantage
✓A strong work ethic - proactive in your work, showing initiative
✓Team player, positive attitude and happy to help the wider team where needed
✓Good attention to detail and able to work to a fast pace where necessary
