Working as a Procurement Specialist, you will be a key member of the Leeds emergency lighting organization, supporting the implementation, maintenance & compliance of procurement & logistics processes for defined categories
You will be responsible to achieve business targets in your category on cost, quality, sustainability, and leverage the risks.
What will you do?
+ Maintain and monitor individual supplier performance [accuracy, productivity, progress and compliance] and to be able to obtain relevant / key reports
+ Take full responsibility for RFx projects at all levels of sourcing suppliers
You will have the oversight and management to go to market at pace and review and analyse all viable options.
+ Developing new suppliers to meet company expectation globally
+ Collaborating with Global team on category strategy implementation and contribute strategy development
+ Negotiate agreements with main suppliers and periodically renew pricelists, terms and conditions.
+ Update ERP system in line with current pricing /investigate additional PPV and report findings.
+ Support the escalation to supplier to confirm delivery date and guarantee continuity in case of shortages or supplier risks.
+ Assessing and developing suppliers to fulfil company requirement on supplier qualification, HSE, Sustainability and Integrity
+ Running innovation workshop with suppliers
Supporting Continuous Improvement on product design, production process, logistic, etc.
+ Identifying supply risk, creating risk mitigation plan and executing them
+ Securing material availability and adequate capacity
How will you get here?
+ Above 5 years of working experience in SCM / Sourcing or equivalent, preferably in the and electronics market.
+ A Bachelor’s degree or above
+ Capable to address the job-related challenges in autonomous and independent way
+ Effective Supplier Relationship Management and Negotiations.
+ Project management experience
+ Proficient in Power Bi and Microsoft Excel
+ Fluent in business level in verbal and written English
