Area Sales Manager
The Role: As an Area Sales Manager your role will be to drive distribution sales across the 'Southern' territory which is everything below the M4 motorway, all of Greater London, and the South East
The Area Sales Manager will be selling a range of quality pneumatic tools, hoses, and accessories and 60% of your role will be to support your existing client base made up of independent and national distribution businesses, the other 40% of your time will be engaging with new distribution partners, accompanying them on joint visits, and other new business activity
You will build and develop relationships with your channel partners to push sales and win market share
The Area Sales Manager will achieve this through a number of activities such as meet the manufacturer events at distribution branches, field visits, and teams meetings
You will have additional autonomy with pricing, promotions, and planning for your account base.

A strong relationship builder with a track record in distribution sales in the industrial & engineering sectors will do very well here.
We are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:
Have a track record of selling a product through distribution channels
Demonstrable account management and new business track record
Experience in growing an existing account base
Industrial, Engineering, or construction product sales background ideal
Have drive, energy, and strong territory planning skills
Full & Clean Driving licence
