Commercial Assistant
Description✓Commercial Assistant; Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire; up to £28,000 per annum depending upon skills / experience
✓A leading provider of Supply-Chain Solutions to the Food Industry is recruiting
✓This company has enjoyed continued and significant growth in recent years and have established supply chain links with many household names within the UK Supermarket and Food Services sectors
✓They are currently looking to recruit a Commercial Assistant to support the Project Manager.
✓The purpose of the Commercial Assistant role is to ensure that key deadlines are met for project launches working with the company’s Suppliers and Customers and to provide support to the Commercial Team.
✓The Commercial Assistant will:
✓* Work closely with the Project Manager to manage the critical path from new business agreement to product launch with major retail customers.
✓* Liaise with key stakeholders in the critical path to launch process to ensure information is submitted in time to meet key milestones and deadlines.
✓* Undertake market gap analysis and competitor pricing updates.
✓* Assist in preparation and co-ordination of key information for commercial tender submissions.
✓* Assist in the preparation of documentation for product sample submissions, customer presentations, etc.
✓* Create and maintain customer, account and product records, ensuring they are accurate and up-to-date.
✓* Provide general administration support to the commercial team as required.
✓Applicants for the Commercial Assistant vacancy will have had previous experience of working in an challenging administration role, working to deadlines whilst effectively managing simultaneous tasks and responsibilities.
✓The successful applicant for the Commercial Assistant will need to have excellent communication and organisational skills and will need to posses advanced Excel Skills.
