Events Sales Executive
Description✓Opportunity for someone with a background in sales to in get into the Events sector with a growing tech business
✓Office based in Glasgow Monday & Wednesday 9am -5pm
✓Homed based Tuesday, Thursday & Friday
✓Selling a range of sales & marketing events to brands for an already established, successful and growing tech business.
✓The Client

✓* Provide a range of B2B events and digital products that allow retail brands to connect with retail buyers in their categories.
✓* They provide their SME clients with promotional event space and a range of digital marketing products.
✓* They connect their Blue-Chip retail with the brands they like.
✓* Sectors include food, drink, health, beauty, household, homewares, gifts ect
✓* These are controlled environments where their brand products are placed directly in front of their potential customer audience.
✓* This innovative organisation has experienced rapid growth through organic expansion due to their unique product offering, client results and increasing innovative product portfolio.
✓* Due to this growth they currently require an Events Sales Executive to sell their expanding portfolio of events.
✓The Role
✓* Selling a range of events marketing opportunities to primarily new and some existing customers.
✓* Dealing with a range of customers from small to medium sized businesses.
✓* Clients will be consumer retail brands across food, drink, health, beauty, household, homewares, gifts ect.
✓* Working from an established CRM with already sourced data leads.
✓* This is a structured sales process where you will be developing leads by cold call telemarketing.
✓* Consultative selling to identify the business needs then create, design and present innovative event marketing strategies and solutions to win and retain business.
✓* Negotiating and presenting solutions to key decision makers both over the phone and on virtually face to face via Teams.
✓* Once on board you will manage these clients.
✓* Developing and maintaining customers
✓* Working to set KPIs, revenue targets and deadlines.
✓* Maintaining and understanding your sector, market conditions and competitor products.
✓* You will have the support and back up of strong case studies, metrics and marketing information.
✓* Spend time at events developing relationships with customers.
✓The Candidate
✓This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious and experienced salesperson to join an innovative tech business in the events sector.
✓You will require / be
✓* Experience and a demonstrable strong track record of developing new business and managing accounts from within any sales sector.
✓* An enthusiastic individual that builds rapport quickly.
✓* A solid understanding of the sales process.
✓* Good activity rate, be very comfortable cold calling, closing deals over the phone and presenting mostly face to face via Teams.
✓* Naturally creative with the ability to deal with all levels.
✓* Commercially aware, motivated and enthusiastic
✓* You will have the tenacity to drive sales forward and a real desire to work in the event sales sector.
✓* Articulate, proactive and quick thinking.
