External Sales Representative
Description✓Excellent opportunity for an External Sales Representative to join a leading construction product supplier
✓The company operate throughout the UK and due to continuous growth and success, require an experienced sales representative to join their team to cover their given territory
✓The role will involve a mixture of new and existing business, targeting a customer base of construction specialist [housebuilders, trades, developers etc.]
✓The successful applicant will have a good background selling construction related products previously.
✓The given territory will cover [by postcodes]; CB, CM, CO, HP, LU and MK
✓External Sales Representative Position Overview
✓To achieve sales targets and forecast's set by the company.
✓To report weekly sales activity within allocated area
✓[CB, CM, CO, HP, LU and MK postcodes]
✓To keep the company's database updated and record communications with customers.
✓To acquire and maintain an in-depth product knowledge.
✓To prepare competitive price lists and quotes to potential and existing customers.
✓Initiate and maintain good working relationships with customers and colleagues.
✓Resolve customer issues in a positive and timely manner.
✓Liaise with credit control in relation to customer credit limits and outstanding payments.
✓To pro-actively generate new customers.
✓Liaise with internal sales staff regarding customers.
✓To work closely with the rest of the Sales Team to ensure the company meets its monthly sales targets and other sales objectives.
✓To reactivate dormant accounts.
✓To identify, implement, and manage new sales initiatives when approved
✓External Sales Representative Position Requirements
✓Construction industry experience
✓Field sales / business development experience
✓Live on patch to territory
✓Full UK Drivers License
✓Strong communicator
✓External Sales Representative Position Remuneration
✓Starting salary £35,000 - £40,000 [dependant on experience]
✓OTE circa £10,000
✓Company car / allowance
✓Laptop and mobile phone
✓28 days holiday [rising with service]
✓Christmas shutdown
✓Working hours: Mon - Thu 8am - 5pm & Friday 8am - 4:30pm
