Internal Telephone Sales Executive - Electrical Wholesaler
Description✓Our client Hobby Homes Ltd is a well established supplier of cable management, pipe support and industrial fixings to the commercial Mechanical & Electrical contracting sectors.
✓They are seeking a candidate to join our sales office staff at their location in London E3.
✓The chosen candidate should have a confident and conscientious approach to work and will have some previous experience of working within the retail environment for the Mechanical and Electrical or fixings sectors.
✓Your CV should include at least one example of work experience within an electrical wholesaler, fixings specialist or builders merchant.
✓You will be part of a 4 person sales office and will be required to work closely with our sales manager, fellow office colleagues as well as our warehouse staff and delivery drivers
✓You will be expected to perform the following varied array of tasks ;
✓* input sales orders into their sales order processing system
✓* have a polite and efficient telephone manner
✓* advise pricing and answer questions from customers
✓* price quotations and email them to customers
✓* keep efficient "call-back" records where required
✓* assist with the planning of timed deliveries
✓* have a good standard of computer literacy
✓* compile "proof of delivery" information and email to customers when required
✓* search for "special" products not held in stock
✓* have a neat, organised and efficient approach to paperwork and general sales tasks.
✓Training will be given in all tasks expected.
✓The working week is 8:00am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday.
