HB Commercial is excited to partner with a dynamic and forward-thinking software company with the UK office based in the peterborough area
As they continue to grow and expand, they are currently looking for a talented New Business Sales Account Manager to join the team.
As a vital member of the Sales team, the New Business Sales Account Manager plays a key role in driving sales revenue within assigned territory
You will be responsible for meeting and exceeding sales targets set.
The primary responsibilities of the New Business Sales Account Manager include managing the entire sales cycle within your assigned territory, from prospecting and lead management to identifying, quoting, negotiating, and closing new sales opportunities
Collaboration with the Pre-Sales team is essential to ensure prospects receive full support throughout the sales process
Additionally, the New Business Sales Account Manager will work closely with the UK Existing Business team to facilitate a smooth handover of new customer accounts.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop a comprehensive understanding of the products, customers, and values of the company.
* Respond promptly and professionally to inbound and outbound sales inquiries, consistently providing exceptional levels of service.
* Build, manage, and maintain a substantial sales pipeline within the assigned territory.
* Evaluate and advance leads and opportunities, addressing any objections from prospective customers.
* Conduct product demonstrations, either through webinars or face-to-face interactions as appropriate.
* Create and deliver accurate price quotations.
* Ensure all communications related to sales leads and opportunities are documented and updated in the Salesforce system.
* Collaborate with the Pre-Sales team to provide comprehensive support to prospects throughout the sales cycle.
* Maintain regular communication with prospects and their stakeholders via phone, email, or in-person meetings as necessary.
* Occasionally travel to remote locations to visit customers and represent the company at trade shows
This may involve event planning and organizing, as well as occasional weekends away.
* Promote and represent the company brand through social media channels whenever possible.
* Respond to inquiries via the company's online chat system in a timely and professional manner
This may involve redirecting conversations to other departments or teams within the company, such as Support, UK Existing Sales, or International Sales.
Key Skills:
* Effective time management and prioritization abilities
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Proficiency in IT and a willingness to enhance technical skills.
* Confident and adept at building relationships in a B2B environment
* Demonstrated track record of winning new clients.
* Ability to work collaboratively while meeting individual and team targets.
