The Role
Due to an exciting phase of restructuring, we are seeking a self-driven and ambitious Sales Engineer to bolster our team
This role allows for flexible remote work, alongside visits to our Oldbury office, reporting directly to our UK Sales Manager

As a Sales Engineer at Granada Cranes, you will utilise your technical knowledge and sales expertise to drive our sales initiatives within the industrial markets
Your leads will come from various channels, including our website, customer contacts, your own network, and some cold calling.
Key Responsibilities
Identifying and securing new business opportunities within the industrial markets.
Conducting technical sales presentations to prospective clients.
Traveling across the UK for sales meetings, site visits, and potential out-of-town stays [expenses covered by the company].
Collaborating with the UK Sales Manager and other internal teams to meet and surpass sales targets.
Managing client relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.

The Benefits
Allowance to supply and run own vehicle of £350 per month.
Mileage reimbursement at government guided rates [currently 45 and 25 pence per mile].

Laptop computer and mobile phone provided with reasonable personal use permitted.
Comprehensive training courses and in-house training.
20 days of holiday plus bank holidays, with potential for additional days after 5 years.

The Person
Strong technical background in engineering.
Proven sales experience within industrial service markets.
Exceptional ability to generate and follow-up on leads.
Ability to work independently and confidently, leveraging personal networks and cold calling.
Willingness to travel extensively across the UK for sales meetings and site visits.
Strong presentation and communication skills.
Familiarity with the lifting equipment and/or crane industry is beneficial, but not essential.
Proficiency in IT tools and systems, including CRM.
