✓Full Job Specification:
✓We are looking for a Registered Manager with Young Children/Adults experience within a Children's residential home which has maintained a 'good' or 'outstanding' OFSTED rating for a minimum of 2 years
✓This is a residential home for children and young people with Emotional & Behavioural needs
✓The right person will need to come in and hit the ground running with managing the home day to day
✓It is a brand-new home which will be opening so you will need to be able to lead a team of support workers to help deliver high standard care to the residents as our mission is to endeavour to create homely environments that supports the needs of our children and young people - enabling them to express their characters, feel safe and enrich their lives
✓You must be able to form solid relationships with all staff, residents and their families.
✓Key Tasks and Responsibilities of a Registered Manager:
✓*
✓Excellent knowledge of Ofsted standards and compliance management within registered services
✓*
✓Positive role model for staff
✓*
✓Experience & ability to give medication as per policy direction
✓*
✓Able to monitor and support staff and allocate work within a residential setting
✓*
✓Excellent knowledge and ability to implement H & S and risk management within the service
✓*
✓Knowledge, experience, understanding and practical ability to manage a service, supporting individuals with a learning disability in a person-centred way including:
✓*
✓Ensuring the implementation of person-centred support including person-centred Identifying when appropriate care and support is not being provided.
✓*
✓Ensuring all staff complete all appropriate training to the required standard to support requirements of the individuals the home support
✓*
✓Reviews, staff supervision and appraisal, to ensure that the people we support can achieve identified outcomes
✓*
✓Action to take, including reporting issues internally and externally as required
✓Enable them to provide appropriate care and support to individuals
