✓The Role
✓The vacancy is that of a Project Support Worker; the contract for this role is to last 3-months before consideration for permanence.
✓Pay rate for this job is £14.00 per hour.
✓This is a full-time job; 37.5 hours per week, with social working hours between Monday & Friday, 9AM to 5PM.
✓Your role will be based in a male-only project service, supporting victims of modern day slavery and human trafficking
✓As such, this role can only consider male applicants. The Responsibilities
✓Providing pro-active service and advice to victims of trafficking, keeping them and their families safe and well.
✓Identifying and assessing risks of trafficked victims, using an evidence-based risk assessment process.
✓Advocating for high-risk victims to various agencies, to address abuse and relevant support frameworks.
✓Supporting of clients, ensuring each individual receives relevant and sufficient support in identified areas.
✓The Requirements
✓Proven experience in supporting clients with complex needs, ensuring they receive ample support for identified requirements.
✓Ability to assess relevant risks and continue to prevent abuse, whilst providing a holistic support service to adults and young people in need.
✓Understanding or handling in relevant service-user themes of human trafficking, sexual abuse, domestic violence etc.
✓The Desirables
✓Qualifications in or equivalent to a Level 3 Health & Social Care NVQ or Certificate in Fighting Modern Slavery & Human Trafficking.
✓Extensive understanding of appropriate legal advice with regards to immigration status or working with refugees.
