Description✓Role: Registered Manager
✓Salary: £34,518
✓Location: Luppitt, 4 miles due North of the busy and vibrant market town of Honiton
✓We are looking for a experienced Manager to take over the running of an unique, 11 bed Home for people with Learning Disabilities services in Luppitt.
✓This is a well-run service for people that are quite independent, with general needs and no CB and you will have a full hand over from the current post holder.
✓The place has large outdoor spaces [a paddock, "the boggy lots", orchard and extensive gardens] which are currently underutilised and very pretty
✓There is huge scope to further improve and make this a centre of excellence in relation to sustainability, improved self-sufficiency and a base where therapeutic activities can be undertaken - field to fork, some reintroduction of livestock, wildflower orchard and community inclusion as a wellbeing eco project.
✓Please see below the key criteria for the position:
✓Three years` experience as a registered manager or similar role within the organisation / health and social care sector.
✓Experience of building staff skill sets and further expanding the current contracted staff team.
✓A strategic and operational skill set to ensure outstanding outcomes for the people we support.
✓Excellent leadership and communication skills.
✓A commitment to person centred working facilitated by the use of multimedia.
✓A drive and commitment to further develop and utilise the outside space.
