✓We are now looking for a Senior External Communications Manager to join us as part of a newly created role reporting directly to the Head of External Communications
✓You will be responsible for co-leading with another Senior External Communications Manager in the development and delivery of an effective, proactive and reactive media relations function.
✓You will manage any news and thought leadership gathered across the Group and liaise with the stakeholders to ensure we are sharing relevant stories and content across different channels in ensuring we are sharing our story in a truly integrated way.
✓You will also be responsible for responding to press enquiries, including out of office hours, on a split basis with the other Senior External Communications Manager

✓To be successful in this role you will have an understanding of crisis communications within different sectors ideally from a housing, healthcare or similar background
✓You will be resilient with a positive outlook on any situation with a one community mindset
✓Most importantly you will be an excellent communicator with the ability to communicate with people of all levels.
✓You will have previous management skills of a communication or public relations team and experience of developing and implementing effective public relations communication strategies, plans and campaigns and press enquiries desk.
