Senior Support Worker
Description✓Male Senior Support and Enablement Workers required - full time days

✓It's crucial that you have experience and an understanding of autism and learning disabilities.
✓Overseeing Support Workers, our Senior Support Workers implement care plans for individuals with learning disabilities and other complex needs.
✓About the Role:
✓Our specialist supported living service in Sutton Coldfield supports people with a learning disability and autism, who may have additional mental health conditions and challenging behaviour
✓This includes people moving on from long term hospital stays.
✓The aim of the service is to enable people to live a fulfilled life, as independently as possible
✓You will develop positive, respectful and trusting relationships with the people we support to improve their confidence and self-esteem, incorporating both therapeutic and social based activities.
✓You must be resilient, flexible and composed in your approach, following Positive Behaviour Support plans and understanding the importance of reflective practice to ensure the best outcomes for the person.
✓Whilst no two days are the same, typically you'll enable people to achieve a range of outcomes relating to their personal care, daily living skills, relationships and accessing community activities.
✓Previous experience of working with people with a learning disability and/or autism who display challenging behaviour or have a mental health condition is preferred.

✓All successful candidates will be subject to an Enhanced DBS/PVG check and Regulated Activity which will include a check against the Barred adult list.
