Description✓Role: Service Manager – Care Leavers Supported Accommodation
✓Based: Birmingham
✓Rate: £25,000 actual salary - 3 days per week
✓Start Date: ASAP
✓Duration: Temp to Permanent
✓Hours: Part-time 3 days per week 9am – 5pm
✓Our client, a specialist Youth Services charity based in Birmingham is looking to recruit a Service Manager
✓Synopsis of duties:
✓Managing a team to provide secure and stable homes that meet all legislative requirements and guidelines.
✓Thorough initial risk and needs assessments, to ensure appropriate matching
✓Personalised support tailored to young people’s individual needs.
✓A structured Preparation for Independence and Growth.
✓Evidence-based assessment tools to monitor and report upon progress.
✓Access to employment, education or training.
✓A multi-agency approach for all young people, including Unaccompanied Asylum Seeking Children [UASC].
✓Resettlement help and support.
✓Participation and co-production opportunities for all young people.
✓Exit interviews, with Moving On Plans shared with the placing authority and Leaving Care teams.
✓Well-established policies and procedures in place with complaints procedures policy
✓Essential Requirements:
✓Have at least 5 years direct experience working within Children/ Young Person’s Residential Supported Accommodation within the last 2 years
✓Have an excellent understanding and working practice of undertaking risk assessments
✓Have an good understanding of safeguarding and can demonstrate an ability to contribute towards a safer working culture.
