✓As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting adults with additional needs within their residential setting.
✓Your responsibilities will include:
✓Providing person-centered support to individuals, respecting their dignity and promoting their independence.
✓Assisting with daily living activities, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks.
✓Supporting individuals in their social and recreational activities, both within the residential setting and in the local community.
✓Ensuring the safety and well-being of individuals at all times.
✓Building positive relationships with individuals, their families, and other professionals involved in their care.
✓Requirements:
✓Previous experience in a similar role or a genuine passion for working with individuals with additional needs.
✓Good communication skills and the ability to establish rapport with individuals.
✓Compassion, patience, and empathy towards vulnerable adults.
✓Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and possibly sleep-ins.
✓An understanding of safeguarding principles and a commitment to promoting the welfare of vulnerable adults.
✓A valid driver's license is desirable but not essential.
