✓Therapeutic Team Leader needed in a Children's Residential Home in Nottinghamshire
✓Nottinghamshire
✓Salary: £28,500 - £29,500 DOE [£45 per sleep in]
✓Permanent and Full Time
✓To start as soon as possible
✓We are excited to be working with a company on this new opportunity to join a great team as a Team Leader in a fantastic children's residential home.
✓Job Role
✓* To support the management team in the day-to-day operation of the home and provide cover if required across the service if and when required
✓* To deliver therapeutic care with an in house with an inhouse trauma informed intervention model
✓* To provide guidance and support to team members, children, and young people across all aspects of the child's care plan and operating model of the home
✓* To participate in the running of the home with a specific focus on planning and supervising the management of specific shifts
✓* To ensure services comply with the Children's Homes Regulations 2015 and oversee the work of Residential Therapeutic Care Workers to ensure compliance is maintained at all times
✓* To support the management team in achieving and maintaining an OFSTED rating of outstanding or good for the home
✓* To promote and support the development of an organisational culture that puts our Christian Core Values - Caring, Honesty, Respect and Responsibility - at the centre of all we do
✓The successful candidate will have:
✓* 2 years' experience of working in a Residential Children's Home
✓* Experience in relevant supervisory role
✓* Experience of handling conflict and managing sensitive issues to achieve positive outcomes.
✓* Experience of engaging with and motivating young people
✓* NVQ Level 3 or above in Children and Young Peoples Workforce, Children's Residential Care or equivalent
✓* Training/Qualifications relevant to working in a therapeutic setting.
✓* Be flexible to work shifts, including days, evenings, weekends, bank holidays and sleep ins.
