Waking Night Support Worker
Description✓Central is currently recruiting for a Waking Night Support Worker to work in the Hackney area
✓The service is a high support scheme for 16 young people living in a supported housing
✓The service provides a secure environment and supports users with emotional needs, boundaries and promotes independent living.
✓The ideal candidate would need to have experience of working with young people with complex support needs including those related to homelessness, mental health and substance misuse issues
✓They must also have experience of managing challenging behaviour and person-centred support practices.
✓The candidate must also be able to commit to a rota for a minimum period of 3 months, with a likelihood of extension based on performance.
✓The pay rate for this role is £13.45 per hour [inclusive of holiday pay] and the successful candidate will be required to work Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 8:00 PM to 08:00 AM.
✓Please note, we are unable to consider candidates who are currently in full-time permanent employment for these roles.
✓Further requirements:
✓In order to register with Central Recruitment Services for temporary agency work, candidates must meet the following criteria:
✓* Current valid right to work in the UK
✓* Minimum 12 months’ of paid experience in a front line social care role within the last 3 years* [unless recruitment criteria states otherwise]
✓* A fully enhanced DBS either registered on the DBS update service or issued within the last 12 months, or willingness to apply for one through Central [at a cost of £50]
✓* Employment or education history to cover the last 5 years which can be verified through the referencing process
