Cabling & Sub Duct Crew - Dublin
Description✓Cabling & Sub-Duct Team [2x man].
✓Dublin, moving across Southern Ireland.
✓Start: July 2023 - work will last 3 years+
✓€130-€170 per day [experience depending]+ van [business use only] + all equipment
✓My client will consider self-employed crews with own van & equipment and required day rates will be considered for the right crew.
✓My client is looking to recruit a 2x man cabling crew for a €multi-million new fibre network contract covering Southern Ireland starting in Dublin and then expanding across locations within Southerrn Ireland, and is expected to run for the next 3+ years.
✓This work initially is to test rod & rope [TTR] in existing electrical [duct] network
✓However, once the routes are proved this will lead to the full build which will require the installation of fibre optic cable.
✓Ideally, my client is looking for cable teams who are experienced running cable through SIRO electrical ducts and are accredited at SIRO level 1 for working with electrical duct routes and who can cover both disciplines i.e., TRR and cable pull.
✓My client will provide vehicle [1 van per team of 2 for business use only], fuel card, tools, equipment [Ipad for schedule of works], and chapter 8 for each team and will be managed by a Supervisor / Project Manager - which ever engineer keeps the van, they must be able to provide secure parking/garage.
✓All prospective candidates are required to be vetted by my client and will require a client induction prior to commencing work on the contract.
✓The mandatory requirements are as follows :-
✓* Hold a valid NRSWA Street Works operative license unit 2.
✓* Level 1 SIRO Authorization.
✓* Basic CRB check less than 3 months old.
✓* First Aid.
✓* General Ops 1&2.
✓* CSCS [EUSR Telecoms or equivalent].
✓* NOPS Registration.
✓* Confines spaces [medium risk].
✓* Manual Handling.
✓* Experienced in TRR and fibre installation.
✓* Full right to work in Ireland unrestricted.
✓* Full Driving License.
✓My client is looking for candidates ideally locally based to Dublin or within a commutable distance of the Souther Ireland Border.
