✓Due to the continued growth and success of the business, the infrastructure and support group has an exciting opportunity for an experienced IT and networking professional to join the team.
✓We require a 3rd Line Engineer and Enterprise Network & Security Engineer to deliver on key IT, networking [LAN/WAN], firewall / security and infrastructure projects, support day to day operations and help realise future plans and long term strategy for the company.
✓Exciting future projects will include the design and implementation of a national SD-WAN network as well as a broader technology refresh programme.

✓Role type: Permanent, full time
✓Location: Avonmouth, Bristol
✓Salary: Between £40,000 - £45,000 plus bonus plus an excellent benefits package including 25 days holiday, life cover, private healthcare and much more.
✓As the 3rd Line Engineer you will take ownership of:
✓# Network LAN / WAN switch and router configuration, administration and hardware deployment.
✓# Network planning, implementation, network expansion and documentation.
✓# Network support, troubleshooting and patching.
✓# Network security administration and deployment, working on CheckPoint firewalls
✓In addition to the above, as part of the broader infrastructure team you could also get exposure to working on:
✓# Virtualized infrastructure deployment and administration [VMWare ESX]
✓# IT and infrastructure support, troubleshooting, administration and deployment as required by the business across desktop, Windows Server, Exchange, Active Directory and application management.
✓Your background:
✓To be considered for this role it is likely that you will have experience in some or all of the below areas:
✓# Hands-on experience in routing and switching, Cisco LAN / WAN hardware and IP protocols.
✓# Network security experience with firewalls, log and alert analysis plus more.
✓It is desirable but not essential for candidates to also have some broader IT and infrastructure knowledge across Microsoft Windows Server 2019, Active Directory, Exchange, scripting and desktop support.
