✓In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring and analysing security events and threats, identifying potential security incidents, and responding to security incidents as part of the day shift SOC team.

✓Monitor security events and alerts from various security tools and systems, and escalate any potential security incidents to the senior SOC analysts.
✓Conduct initial triage on security events and incidents, to assess the potential impact and severity of the threat.
✓Investigate and analyse security incidents to determine the root cause and provide remediation recommendations.
✓Collaborate with other teams across the organisation to ensure timely and effective incident response.
✓Participate in the development and maintenance of security policies, procedures, and standards.
✓Stay up-to-date with the latest threats and security trends, and make recommendations for improving our security posture.Profile
✓Education background in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
✓Relevant experience in security operations, incident response, or related fields.
✓Knowledge of security tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, and endpoint protection.
✓Basic understanding of networking protocols and operating systems.
✓Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
✓Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
