Junior Telecoms Surveyor

✓We are working alongside a well-established full fibre broadband company, who have been operating for 20 years, bringing next-level FTTP broadband to rural areas of East Anglia and the East of England.
✓Having secured additional significant investment, they’re expanding their reach across Norfolk, Suffolk and Cambridgeshire and are currently recruiting Junior Telecoms Surveyors in the Norwich and Ipswich areas [full training provided].
✓The Junior Telecoms Surveyor sits in the Delivery Team supporting the Build Team and Design Team in ensuring forecasted delivery dates.
✓Junior Surveyors will have training provided and are required to reach the standards of a surveyor by the end of their training programme.
✓You will also be eligible to join a Future Leaders Programme and as a Junior Surveyor, be given clearly defined career and training pathways.
✓You’ll be assisting the Surveyors in the auditing of design data provided by design partners, making sure that the optimal solutions have been identified against specifications allowing a build that meets time, cost per premise and quality requirements.

✓What you’ll be doing
✓* Learn to Validate PIA infrastructure incorporated into the design identifying both issues and solutions
✓* Learn to Utilise QGIS and QField to accurately highlight issues and provide re-designs
✓* Assist in the production and then produce Survey's to Pre-sold customer connections at multiple points throughout the build life cycle ensuring pre-sold customers are available for connection
✓* Work with other Design Surveyors and the Build Field Teams to create a seamless optimised design
✓* Learn to survey critical assets and infrastructure for the build process ensuring right-first-time designs are available to Build Partners
✓* Learn to complete electronic tasks during the survey process providing feedback on design performance, produce and maintain reports wherever necessary
✓* Assist with the ongoing monitoring of Project areas throughout the Pre-build life cycle confirming any changes that will affect the Build Processes.
✓What we’re looking for:

✓* Clean UK Driving License
✓* Experience in telecoms [essential]
