SAS/SQL Systems Programmer/Coordinator

DescriptionThis is a great role for a savvy Systems Coordinator that has experience of either SAS or SQL to work for a high profile company located in central Glasgow
The positions offers an initial contract to the end of the year along with hybrid working of 2 days a week in the office.
The position is part of the Collections Systems team that sits within a Finance Operations department and is responsible for the maintenance and housekeeping of the consumer Collection System
It also manages the workarounds associated with the system and actively seeks to enhance current processes in more innovative and effective ways.
The role will involve building, testing and maintaining Collections Strategies or making configuration tweaks to improve the operation of the Collection System
Carry out regular workarounds to enhance the Collections processes.
Investigating data discrepancies with related systems and raising necessary incidents to various teams to resolve
Identifying process improvements in daily tasks and supporting development and implementation.
Work as part of a small busy team where you can really add value, becoming part of a continuously evolving team that focuses on efficiency and enhancing System management
They are looking for someone resourceful, a good problem solver, well-organised with high attention to detail.
Experience needed
A good working knowledge of the Microsoft office suite along with strong MS Excel skills and good attention to detail.
Experience of SAS and/or SQL programming languages.
Great written and verbal communication skills along with a high attention to detail
Plan, organize, prioritize and oversee activities to efficiently meet business objectives.
