SAS/SQL Systems Programmer/Coordinator
Description✓This is a great role for a savvy Systems Coordinator that has experience of either SAS or SQL to work for a high profile company located in central Glasgow
✓The positions offers an initial contract to the end of the year along with hybrid working of 2 days a week in the office.
✓The position is part of the Collections Systems team that sits within a Finance Operations department and is responsible for the maintenance and housekeeping of the consumer Collection System
✓It also manages the workarounds associated with the system and actively seeks to enhance current processes in more innovative and effective ways.
✓The role will involve building, testing and maintaining Collections Strategies or making configuration tweaks to improve the operation of the Collection System
✓Carry out regular workarounds to enhance the Collections processes.
✓Investigating data discrepancies with related systems and raising necessary incidents to various teams to resolve
✓Identifying process improvements in daily tasks and supporting development and implementation.
✓Work as part of a small busy team where you can really add value, becoming part of a continuously evolving team that focuses on efficiency and enhancing System management
✓They are looking for someone resourceful, a good problem solver, well-organised with high attention to detail.
✓Experience needed
✓A good working knowledge of the Microsoft office suite along with strong MS Excel skills and good attention to detail.
✓Experience of SAS and/or SQL programming languages.
✓Great written and verbal communication skills along with a high attention to detail
✓Plan, organize, prioritize and oversee activities to efficiently meet business objectives.
