DescriptionPremier Houseboats are pleased to present Piggin Arkful, an unusual Dutch Barge style narrowboat originally built of 20/10/6 mm steel, now on a secure residential mooring and available as a characterful home.
Piggin Arkful's means that you benefit from a proper wheelhouse meaning you can navigate in all weathers, whilst doubling as a porch where you can store coats and footwear
there is also a small deck area by the wheelhouse with a bespoke small bbq so you are still able to sit outside and enjoy summer evenings in the marina.
The main living area is a nice space, with small fitted kitchen including gas hob, oven and grill, and a good amount of storage and workspace
the saloon is a good size, with plenty of windows for light and air, and a lovely solid fuel stove on a raised plinth with tile surround.
A hallway leads to the bathroom, with a hip bath and wall mounted shower, hand basin and cassette toilet
The bedroom has a fixed double berth, and again has good storage
There is diesel fired Eberspacher central heating throughout the boat.
Piggin Arkful would benefit from an external paint, and will need the roof of the wheelhouse repaired, but is mechanically and structurally in very good condition.
Piggin Arkful offers cosy living on a secure residential mooring, and the ability to cruise if desired.
